Accessibility Statement
We want everyone, including parents, carers, young people and volunteers with disabilities, to be able to use this website easily.
Youth Learning Network aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard. This statement was last reviewed in October 2026.
How this website is built for accessibility
- Semantic page structure with a logical heading hierarchy on every page
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Colour contrast tested against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard
- Form fields with accessible labels and clear validation messages
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops
- Respect for your device's reduced-motion setting where animations are used
Known limitations
- Some documents we link to, such as external PDFs, are provided by other organisations and may not be fully accessible.
- Older photographs shared with us by partners may not always have complete alternative text. Tell us and we will add it.
