Volunteer with YLN
Give a few hours and change a young person's direction. Tutors, mentors and helpers are the reason our Saturday sessions work.

Safeguarding comes first
- Every volunteer completes an enhanced DBS check before working with children.
- All volunteers complete our child protection induction and sign the safeguarding policy.
- Volunteers always work in sight of a lead tutor or staff member - never alone with a child.
- A named Designated Safeguarding Lead is present at every session.
- Ongoing supervision, training and clear routes to raise any concern.
