Childline, run by the NSPCC, is there for any child or young person under 19 with any worry - bullying, family problems, online safety, mental health or anything else. It is free, private and confidential, and no problem is too big or too small.
Young people can call 0800 1111 (the call will not show up on phone bills), chat online with a counsellor, or use the message boards and 'calm zone' with relaxing activities and tools.
How families can use it: encourage your child to save the number in their phone. The Childline site also has excellent advice pages you can read together if a difficult topic comes up - and our DBS-checked team can support conversations on Saturdays.
